The smart drive app for the iPhone is the world’s first application of its kind to be developed by an automotive brand. The app brings together all the features you need on the road, including hands-free telephony, an extensive music library, Internet radio, and an innovative navigation system featuring the brand’s own smart Touch system. There are also great extras such as the Car Finder feature that guides you back to wherever you’ve parked your car. The new smart drive app for the iPhone is easy to operate on the move, not least due to its extra-large application buttons.

Ingenious smart apps at a glance:

MEDIA. Enjoy your private music collection with the app. Thanks to an integrated web radio function, you can also listen to your favourite radio stations from around the world. The app’s ID Song function provides online information on track titles and performers played on the radio or web radio.

TELEPHONE. The hands-free system and all important functions needed to make phone calls are available as soon as the iPhone is placed in the smart cradle and the app activated. Keypad, contacts, favourites, call lists and other telephony functions are clearly arranged for ease of use on the move.

NAVI. Navigating without being online is easy: the app turns your iPhone into a full navigation system with maps for European countries or the USA and Canada. A smart icon appears on the iPhone display to guide you to your destination. Street names are both indicated and announced. Traffic information can also be called up in real time to help you avoid traffic congestion.

ASSIST. Using Car Finder, the iPhone automatically remembers where your car was parked when you removed the phone from its cradle and later finds its way back to your vehicle. The smart app also uses the iPhone’s GPS function to provide an additional service, enabling drivers to state their precise position to the smart Hotline should roadside assistance be required.
