Mercedes-Benz has added the World Wide Web to its available on-board features, most recently extending the option to numerous off-road vehicles from the SUV family. All you need for unrestricted internet access on board is the InCar Hotspot. You can connect laptops, netbooks, smartphones or tablet PCs such as the iPad, for example [1]: the special WLAN router in the load compartment lets passengers surf the internet during their journey – and allows up to four devices to be connected at the same time. The only requirement for using the mobile internet is a data-ready SIM card.

The InCar Hotspot allows internet connection speeds of up to 7.2 megabits per second and supports the prevalent transmission standards (HSDPA/UMTS and GSM/EDGE).

The InCar Hotspot is available for the C-Class, CL-Class, E-Class, S-Class,
GL-Class, GLK-Class and M-Class [2] and can be purchased from your
Mercedes-Benz partner.
